I played this on my friends HTC TyTn (AT&T 8525 - WM6 Pro), and really enjoyed it. So when I got my T-Mobile Shadow (HTC Juno or Pheobus - WM6 Standard), I wanted this game on my phone. But! When I go to install it, I get the message "Installation of game.cab was unsuccessful. The installation file is not intended for this device." So my question is; are there any plans for a WM6 Standard (non touchscreen) version of this game?

I want to do something very similar to helicopter, but I don't have time for it now because of school. I hope it will be done in December and it will finally support VGA devices, especially HTC Diamond.

This game requires QVGA resolution, I think HTC Diamond has higher resolution.

Thank you again for your time SpeedBlaster. Hardware button control and icon should be no problem and it will certainly be in the next version. On the other hand, since I don't have a device with accelerometer, it would be almost impossible to develop a feature like motion sensitive control.

Oh ya and i forgot to mention, an icon for the app would be extremly appreciated since not having the icon looks extremly ugly and not easily recognizable for somebody new to WM(like a lot of my freinds).

I have just tried out the newest edition of this game and i have to say it is amazing, after the .2 failure, .3 is an amazing hit. With the helicopter speed faster than ever, the game just become a lot more interesting and even more importantly now it even remebers your high score i can't even decribe how awsome of a feature that is, it opens up a lot new options like multiplayer competetions and this version even remembers your score after you've Quit so it's even better than the desktop version. Very very good job on this version.
But even with all it's awsomeness, the game still needs a few more features like support of hardware buttons, it would be really nice if i could use the main button on the DPAD to work just like my finger does with i touch the screen..this will give the WM Helicopter a lot bigger edge over iPhone's iCopter since iPhone dosen't have any hardware buttons......but we do so lets make use of them.
Also this feature is useless to me since a don't have a accelerometer in my phone but for people who do, it would be nice to have the helicopter motion sensitive...that would be really really cool....but absolutely useless to a person like me who had no accelerometer in their phone.
But overall very nice work on the game, highly appreciate it. -

Thank you for your post SpeedBlaster, I am already working on a new version, which should contain all of the features, you request and some others, e.g. increasing speed of helicopter through time. I also want to change the graphics to the old one, because poeple liked it more, as it looked like old school games.

The game has a very good concept, trying to bring the massively famous helicopter game to Windows Mobile...but it falls short on several occasions, like remembering the Highest score, a very big inconvenience since you can't remember your own score.....and even tough the .2 Version included new features like the explosion and new grass, it also made the helicopter travel a lot slower which makes the game ridiculously easy and extremely boring. Hopefully the creator will address this problem in version 3 and we will finally have a helicopter game comparable to atleast the iPhone's iCopter.
